I’m taking part in the #sewapril2017 challenge over on Instagram. If you love anything to do with sewing and clothes design, please go and check it out.
To recap, on Friday, you separated your Autumn/Winter clothes from your Spring/Summer clothes.
Yesterday you will have:
Now for today’s tasks:
You deserve a lie in, it is Sunday after all. Unless you absolutely have to, don’t get out of bed before noon.
1pm; Let’s make a start on those repairs, get them all out of the way. Next, complete the ironing and put away your clothes. Prep your work clothes as well while you’re at it.
2pm; Give your wardrobe a quick wipe with a dampened cloth. There is no point organising your lovely clothes, only to place them in a dusty wardrobe. If you wish, you can line your drawers with scented paper, and add lavender bags to your hangers. This may help keep your clothes freshly scented, and the moths away.
After all that, spend the rest of the day online shopping. Yes, shopping. You can browse your favourite online shops, order those pieces missing from your wardrobe, and look forward to receiving them in a few days. If like me you like sewing, you can purchase haberdashery according to your wardrobe tastes. You will find the notes you made on Friday and yesterday useful.
Your evening should be free for rest and relaxation, safe in the knowledge that your spring wardrobe is up to date. It’s nice to know another task that we so often put off, is done and you helped a charity in the process.
